An interaction between the Research Fellows of the Policy Research Institute and Professor Dr. Avidit Acharya.

Today, at the invitation of the Institute of Policy Research, Professor of Political Science and Political Economy at Stanford University, Dr. Avidit Sharma met with the researchers of the institute and had a scholarly interaction on contemporary policy issues. The interaction covered topics such as the direction and pace of Nepal’s economic reform, political economics of public policy, policy innovation, dynamics of the election system, the role of government think tanks, and evidence-based policymaking. After the interaction, Mr. Laxman Bhattarai, Office Manager of the institute, presented a certificate of appreciation to Professor Sharma.
