A multidisciplinary thematic research center of PRI, this center has a scope to conduct a wide range of policy research and dialogues that relate to its units. The center works with the unflinching belief that people should be at the centre of public policy process of the country.
The center has been divided into three units:
3.1 Legal Affairs Unit
This unit emphasizes policy research and public dialogues on the subjects related to the policy directions on the policy processes of the constitutional provisions, Acts and rules, human rights, and intellectual property rights. The scope of the unit also extends to studies and public dialogues on diverse issues related with institutional cooperation and disputes resolution at federal and sub-national levels based on their legislative and constitutional rights.
3.2 Education Policy Unit
This unit focuses on a broad spectrum of policy research and public dialogue on issues of education system and health facilities, decent jobs, social security and justice, gender equality and social inclusion including protection of people with disabilities, poverty, the needs of children and families, youth, senior citizen, minorities, among related others.
3.3 Health Policy Unit
This unit aims to contribute to policy process on the overall health system, services, problems, priorities and knowledge of the health sector through research, analysis and dialogues.
3.4 Social Welfare and Security Unit
This unit studies social security and justice, gender equality and social inclusion, social security of the persons with disabilities, poverty, needs and social protection of children, youths and citizen seniors and minorities.
