OUR TEAM | PROFILE

Dr. Kalpana Khanal received her PhD and MA degrees in Economics from the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC), USA. She brings with her more than a decade-long teaching and research experience in US universities. She focuses on interdisciplinary research and her research and teaching interests include money and banking, public finance, global finance, political economy, institutional economics, and feminist economics.

Dr. Khanal has presented her research papers, served as panel chair and a discussant at several national and international conferences. Her journal articles, book reviews, book chapters, abstracts, and op-ed articles have been published in various national and international outlets.

She is an active member of several US and Nepal based as well as international professional associations.
