Deepak Kumar Khadka, a PhD in life sciences from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, is a Senior Research Fellow and heads the Center for Natural Resources and Technology Policy at the Policy Research Institute. He also serves as the Head of the Information and Knowledge Management Department at the institute. He brings eighteen years of diverse experience in research and development in agricultural biotechnology, biodiversity, developmental biology, and molecular diagnostics; quality assurance of research programme in the higher education sector; and policy research in science, technology and innovation, agriculture, health, law, and governance; from various institutions in the US and Nepal. To his credit are over a dozen of research articles in international journals and policy research reports.
