Dr. Gobinda Raj Pokhrel is the former Vice-Chairperson of the National Planning Commission. He has expertise in the energy and finance sectors. He has served Nepal’s various government and non-government offices under executive positions and gained 20 years of experience in Nepal’s academia. As a manager of SNV Netherlands Development Organization, Dr Pokhrel has worked in several countries in South Asia. He has earned his PhD from Germany and published articles on sustainable energy, climate change and public policies in various national and international journals.
