A project launched to study how annual policies and programmes of the government of Nepal can be made more objective and implementable

Policy Research Institute (PRI) has launched a project to study how annual policies and programmes of the government of Nepal can be made more objective, implementable and sustainable, and, based on the study, draw policy recommendations for PRI to initiate onward action.

A team of experts led by Mr Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, former Secretary of the government of Nepal, will conduct the study. Mr. Ram Mani Duwadi, former Joint Secretary of the government of Nepal, and Dr. Jham Kumar Bishwakarma, Associate Research Fellow of PRI will assist Mr Adhikari in carrying out the study.

The research team will be advised by a panel of experts comprising Dr. Bishnu Raj Upreti, Executive Chairperson of PRI, Dr. Shankar Sharma, former Vice-Chairman of National Planning Commission, Mr. Leelamani Paudyal, former Chief Secretary of the government of Nepal and Dr. Teertha Dhakal, Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
