The Chairman of the National Assembly Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, Hon. Maya Prasad Sharma, visited the Policy Research Institute and received information about the work, activities, capabilities, and needs of the Institute and exchanged views with the officers and senior researchers of the Institute on the possible areas of collaboration and cooperation between the Committee and the Institute. Hon. President was accompanied by the Committee Secretary, Ms. Kamala Shakya.

Among the ideas exchanged at the meeting were that the institute can organize public policy dialogue and conduct rapid study to provide inputs and feedback to the topics of discussion initiated at the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee and that the Committee can help the Policy Research Institute to make its Public Policy Resource Center resource-rich and to strengthen the institute. The Policy Research Institute looks forward to its affiliation and collaboration with the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
