An Interaction Programme on Research and Policymaking Process for Kathmandu University Students

The Policy Research Institute (PRI) organized an interaction programme for the students taking the course on Development Policy and Planning for the Master’s in Development Studies at Kathmandu University School of Arts. The programme was attended by 20 students along with their mentor Dr. Bishnu Raj Upreti, the former Executive Chairperson of the Institute. In the program, Dr. Deepak Kumar Khadka, a Senior Research Fellow and the Head of the Information and Knowledge Management Department made a presentation on the policy research at PRI and evidence-based policy-making process. This was followed by the interaction of students with Senior Research Fellows of PRI on various issues ranging from policy priority to the impact of research on policymaking.
